The Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness encompasses about 3,500 acres between Ludington and Manistee. We will base camp in a large, Group Campsite and day hike some of the trails and enjoy the nearby beach. Saturday night we will be treated to dinner in camp prepared by Chapter Chef Cecilia Garcia. We will be planting cedar saplings or maintaining previously planted cedars, so bring gloves, shovels, trowels, etc. An afternoon barbecue back at the Au Sable Lodge will follow.
