Bluegrass innovator Dan Crary and The Small Ponds (Whiskeytown-alumna Caitlin Cary andsinger, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Douglas) headline the third annual BreakFEST. BreakFEST is a benefit for the Breakfast at St. Andrew�s, a daily meal program for anyone in need hosted by St. Andrew�s Episcopal Church in Ann Arbor. Who Hit John has been performing, jamming, and busking since 2006, evolving from their beginnings as an old time string band playing on the street corner for tips. Now weaving gypsy swing and hot jazz flavors into an already diverse collage of barnstorming old time originals and traditional songs, they blend music of the 20�s, 30�s and 40�s with a fresh breath of excitement and soul. Doors open at 7:30, concert starts at 8:00 pm Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation for Food Gatherers, a non-profit organization serving the greater Ann Arbor area. (more)
