The Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness encompasses about 3,500 acres between Ludington and Manistee. We will base camp in a large, Group Campsite and day hike some of the trails and enjoy the nearby beach. | 10:00 am | Au Sable River Cleanup and Tree Planting Join the Anglers of the Au Sable, Cedars of the Au Sable and the Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club for the Annual Au Sable River clean up and cedar planting. We will be planting cedar saplings or maintaining previously planted cedars, so bring gloves, shovels, trowels, etc. An afternoon barbecue back at the Au Sable Lodge will follow.
