DESCRIPTION:Isle Royale National Park is a remote\, roadless island in Lake Superior. We will have a 10 day (including travel time to and from the island) backpack adventure. Here moose and wolves live in a natural balance.  You can hear the eerie\, demented laugh of the loon.  It's one of Michigan's most pristine settings\, with 165 miles of hiking trails and is the only National Park completely closed down in the winter.  Isle Royale is a wilderness experience to remember forever.
