Description:

Hike through a fine example of a railroad prairie remnant with both fen and dry prairie species, located on the campus of St Joseph Mercy Hospital. This is a joint hike by the Michigan Botanical Society and the Sierra Club Huron Valley Group. Wear long pants and dress for the weather. Includes steep stairs and uneven or wet ground. Carpooling or bus transit strongly encouraged. Parking lot opposite Staff Lot D at the 3-way stop on McAuley Dr-- look for Recreation Area sign.
