Science and outdoor recreation combined! Join two experts on their rafting experience of the Grand Canyon. Tim Clarey, Geology specialist at Delta College, and Hal Wolfe, avid outdoorsman, will show us the rock layers, and rafting, swimming, and hiking in one of our best-loved national parks. Find out about the “Great Unconformity,” a 1.2 billion year gap in geological time, as well as rim to rim running. You’ll hear about fun and learn fascinating facts about the Grand Canyon.
